Silverbeet Ruby Red

As the name suggests this heirloom variety of silverbeet has striking ruby red stems that actually look a little like rhubarb! The dark green leaves and the stems can all be cooked is Stir Fry and sauté style dishes.

Tip: Try cooking this silverbeet (leaves and stems) in a quiche, the green of the leaves the red of the stems make for a bright and colourful, delicious meal!

Seeds best sown when temperatures are: 8-30 C
Sow seed depth: 15mm
Plant Spacing: 20cm 
Germinate: 3-10 days
Days to Harvest: 65-75 days
Grow in Full Sun.
