Broad Bean Early Long Pod

Producing sweet and tender bean seeds inside long green pods. Young beans can be used in salads or older beans can be harvested and cooked in some garlic butter. The Early Long Pod broad beans will grow to 1.5 meters tall and may require support especially if located in a windy area. A simple support structure is to grow the beans through chicken wire attached at the corners to garden stakes.

Tip: Broad Beans are one of the first harvests of the spring garden.
