Chilli Serrano

Originating in South America and named for the Sierra Madre Oriental mountain range, the Serrano chilli is a very productive plant growing to 1 meter tall. The fruit ripen from green to red with a heat intensity of 7/10. They are a good variety to dry and crush to use in a home grown chilli powder.

Tip: Start seeds indoors with extra heat from late winter to get a head start on the growing season!

Plant Spacing: 50cm 
Germinate: 7-21 days
Days to Harvest: 80-95 days
Grow in Full Sun
